The custom order process.

I have the wonderful opportunity to design custom orders for my fabulous clients. Often the process begins with a question. "I really love this style but does it come in these colors?" I then contact the person with my answer that usually includes a picture of what I feel will fit with the color scheme the best. This picture may include elements like ribbon, fabric, flowers, pearls, crystals, trims or whatever is relevant to the overall look. I can also send out a swatch if needed for comparison in person.

Here we have a picture of two different shades of purple ribbon.

This picture gets me dreaming about what I could make. This was for an inquiry about a beach wedding. I really love this grouping even though I would not use everything pictured on the same pillow it is intended to induce concepts of design.

This photo turned into the pillow pictured below.

If you have any questions about a custom order you would like please do not hesitate to contact me and I will be happy to assist.

Custom Order

Here is another custom order that I have just finished. It was created with white silk dupioni as the base. I then added deep chocolate brown silk taffeta sashes and the handmade flower center.

The flower consists of silk petals, hand cut silk dupioni petals, hand cut silk chiffon petals and of course a gorgeous rhinestone button.

It measures about 8 inches square and I just love it! It will be shipped off to it's new home tomorrow but I am sure that it will be well taken care of!

Custom Orders

I love being able to provide my customers with items that fit their own special wedding theme. Whether I have it in stock or it has to be custom made I get the privilege of being able to create by hand that very special bridal accessory. Here are a few custom orders that I have done.
If you would like your own custom order or just browse through my designs you can visit my Etsy shop here or you can visit my website here.
This is one of my favorites if I could ever really pick one. It was created for a bride that sent me a picture of her wedding dress and also a list of the materials and colors she was looking for. She was also able to look at my designs and tell me what style she liked. This is the ring bearer pillow that I created for her. It is ivory dupioni silk with wheat silk sashes and a jeweled rose in the center.
This pleated silk satin ring bearer pillow that was actually ordered by the Mother of the Bride. She wanted me to use her wedding dress fabric and turn it into a pillow for her daughter. She sent me paint swatches of the wedding colors, pictures of her daughter's wedding dress and a swatch from the fabric I was to use. I created this design for her drawing inspiration from all the elements that she wanted. The ribbons are removeable so that if anybody else in the family wishes to use the pillow it is easily returned to a plain white palette.
This pretty silk ring bearer pillow was a special order with double face pink satin ribbons and two gorgeous silk rananculus flowers. I really liked the way that this turned out.
It looks so fresh to me, like a spring garden wedding.

Here is a silk dupioni alencon lace ring bearer pillow that is so dramatic. I really enjoyed creating this one. I started with a chocolate brown dupioni silk and a piece of heavily beaded and sequined alencon lace. The finishing touches on this is the wide double faced satin ribbon and the vintage rhinestone piece in the center. One of a kind and very special!

This is modeled after my hydrangea silk bow ring bearer pillow seen here but with a twist. As you can see the customer ordered it in all blue silk and I thought it was just fantastic.

Here is another color scheme that you could never find in a retail store but it is special touches like this that can cement the entire look of the ceremony together. This was so much fun to work with the Mother of the Bride on. She explained to me the color scheme and I sent her photos of available materials that I had. It is constructed out of silk dupioni with purple dupioni sashes that are layered with orange taffeta ribbon. The center is a velvet flower with a freshwater pearl and Swarovski crystal center.
