SECOND FLOWERS

Today I am extremely busy getting orders out. First off are some flower hair clips, a ring pillow, rhinestone belt and then I want to get to work on a very special silk bouquet I have been working on. I wanted to share this with you really quick though.

These pansies popped up all by themselves in the garden bed next to my little deck this year (Happy Earth Day). I did not plant them there so it was a bit of a mystery. My thought is that maybe they seeded from the containers that I had nearby. However they came to arrive there is fine with me because they are such a cheery lot. As you know pansies are tiny so I used a salt shaker as a vase. Super adorable just for you and me.

FIRST FLOWERS

Every Spring there is the excitement of seeing all the new flowers pop up everywhere. It's as if the earth has exploded with color to trumpet the coming of longer, warmer days. A time when I get a little bounce in my step thinking about all the upcoming adventures to be had and shared with the people I love. This also is a time of great inspiration for Emici Bridal. Wedding season is in full swing now and there will be no shortage of new beginnings to create for.

I don't know if you are supposed to cut all the flowers of your hellebore plant but I guess I am a floral rebel this year. Plus it really should have seen this coming when it only produced two stalks of flowers. Oh well, I am sure that one of us will learn a valuable lesson here. I guess it's to be determined whether it is me or the plant. P.S. It's usually not the plant.

ETSY FRONTPAGE & NEW COLLECTION

Two of my ring bearer pillows were recently featured on the frontpage of Etsy and that is always a great thing to see! I wanted to share with you a little about them and also give you a sneak peek bit of info about a new collection I have coming soon. It is going to be GORGEOUS! But first...

Here is the first frontpage of the two in one of my favorite color schemes. As you can see my embroidered silk fleur de lis pillow fits in perfectly and that is a beautiful thing. My friend at Peacock Invitations is also featured in this treasury. If you are looking for fabulous handmade wedding invitations I highly recommend her shop.

This second one is a champagne and cream palette with my wide bow caramel ring bearer pillow in the bottom right corner which brings me to my sneak peek bit of info. I have a brand new collection in the works that will be featuring those hues. It is going to be spectacular and I don't want to give too much away. Never before have I announced an upcoming collection like this so you know it is going to be good. As soon as it is ready details will be posted here and on Facebook.
