Here is another custom order that I have just finished. It was created with white silk dupioni as the base. I then added deep chocolate brown silk taffeta sashes and the handmade flower center.

Flashback from the Past
Here is the design that I made to be featured in Bride Noir a while back. I really loved it! It was constructed out of white dupioni silk taffeta and had rows of hand beaded trim.

Love of Antique Lace
Isn't this gorgeous! This is just a detail photo of an antique lace dress. Can you imagine what the rest of the dress looks like and how spectacular it must be. This is part of a private collection.
This is a really nice example of a vintage embroidered monogram handkerchief. It has taupe and silver embroidery in padded stitch and french knots.

First Draft

As you may know I am participating in the Etsy Bridal Dream Teams first ever design challenge. The theme is "Gothic Weddings". I actually created three pieces before I settled on the one that I entered in the design challenge. You can see the piece that I entered here: http://bridaldreamteam.blogspot.com/ This is the first one that I made and I decided that it was more goth than gothic.
This ring bearer pillow was so fun to create and you can see the full description for it here:

Just got these new customer photos!
I am so thrilled that I can have the honor of bride's sending me wedding photos. These come from Carrie's wedding. She purchased a custom color flower girl pouch in white from me and a red silk bow ring bearer pillow. These photos come courtesy of her and her photographer Karlisa Logan Photography in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
To be able to see my items in the completed setting really brings the entire picture together. I love seeing all the small details of the event come together in the photograph. Like the red ribbon in the little girl's hair that ties together with the red ring bearer pillow. Thank you Carrie for sending me these pictures!

Product Spotlight! Beaded Ostrich Feather Ring Bearer Pillow

I would like to start a new section where there can be a better online catalog for my customers to view my work. There is a lot to post so I hope I can get it all done but please enjoy and let me know what you think!
This is made out of gorgeous high quality bridal satin in ivory. Please note a special order fabric can be arranged if you email me. Features hand beaded ostrich feather trim and a beautiful pearl and rhinestone wreath center. These feathers are hand beaded with Swarovski pearls and glass beads. It's tedious but worth it! Each bead and pearl is placed by hand to maintain the fluff of the feather. Thin satin ribbons peek out to secure your rings for the trip down the aisle and this pillow has a satin sash on the back to help the ring bearer carry the pillow. Hand tufted with a mother of pearl button and measures about 8x8.

Calling all Brides!

I am starting a new online photo album with pictures sent to me by my wonderful customers! If you are an Emici Bridal customer and want your wedding photos posted online send me a couple photos featuring my designs in your wedding. I will also gladly publish the credit for the photographer if needed. Just look at this adorable picture!

These pictures are courtesy of Angela in Jakarta, Indonesia. I am so appreciative to her for these gorgeous photos.
Here are the Bride and Groom. Don't they look fantastic! Angela was so great to work with and she is the first bride to send me pictures. I hope she has started a trend and that with my new blog I can share all these beautiful photos with you.
