Featured in Seattle Style!

Kimberly at Seattle Style has featured Emici Bridal in the Seattle Style Lounge. This is just fantastic for me to be introduced to their readers. Seattle is always close to my heart and I hope to be able to work with many brides there to create their perfect wedding accessory. Below is one of the picture layouts used on the blog. It intrigues me to no end to see the pieces that are grouped by others and the endless combinations it can make.
Thank you Kimberly and Seattle Style!

Custom Order

Here is another custom order that I have just finished. It was created with white silk dupioni as the base. I then added deep chocolate brown silk taffeta sashes and the handmade flower center.

The flower consists of silk petals, hand cut silk dupioni petals, hand cut silk chiffon petals and of course a gorgeous rhinestone button.

It measures about 8 inches square and I just love it! It will be shipped off to it's new home tomorrow but I am sure that it will be well taken care of!

Flashback from the Past

Here is the design that I made to be featured in Bride Noir a while back. I really loved it! It was constructed out of white dupioni silk taffeta and had rows of hand beaded trim.

Product Spotlight!

This was one of my favorites. I used a vintage heavily embroidered handkerchief and Swarovski crystals and pearls. It was on a white silk taffeta base and tufted with a mother of pearl button.

First Draft

As you may know I am participating in the Etsy Bridal Dream Teams first ever design challenge. The theme is "Gothic Weddings". I actually created three pieces before I settled on the one that I entered in the design challenge. You can see the piece that I entered here: http://bridaldreamteam.blogspot.com/ This is the first one that I made and I decided that it was more goth than gothic.
This ring bearer pillow was so fun to create and you can see the full description for it here:

Product Spotlight! Beaded Leaf and Pearl Flowers Ring Bearer Pillow

A gorgeous ivory silk dupioni ring bearer pillow. The real show stopper about this pillow is the beaded leaf appliques and the genuine freshwater pearl handwired flowers that grace the top. All of this is painstakingly handstitched on. The ribbon is super luxe double faced satin. It measures about 8x8 and is hand tufted with a mother of pearl button.

Product Spotlight! Beaded Ostrich Feather Ring Bearer Pillow

I would like to start a new section where there can be a better online catalog for my customers to view my work. There is a lot to post so I hope I can get it all done but please enjoy and let me know what you think!

This is made out of gorgeous high quality bridal satin in ivory. Please note a special order fabric can be arranged if you email me. Features hand beaded ostrich feather trim and a beautiful pearl and rhinestone wreath center. These feathers are hand beaded with Swarovski pearls and glass beads. It's tedious but worth it! Each bead and pearl is placed by hand to maintain the fluff of the feather. Thin satin ribbons peek out to secure your rings for the trip down the aisle and this pillow has a satin sash on the back to help the ring bearer carry the pillow. Hand tufted with a mother of pearl button and measures about 8x8.
