THE LEONA CHARLIZE

I have been chomping at the bit to reveal this brand new project to you. It gives me great pleasure to introduce to you The Leona Charlize bouquet.

Comprised of hand cut petals of various gorgeous silk fabrics, faceted peridot gemstones, silver rhinestone clusters, vintage brooches and lace. Each flower is its own individual piece with a green dupioni silk wrapped stem. I created this one of a kind bouquet for the lovely Jo from Peacock Invitations, she is setting up a photo shoot to promote handmade in the wedding industry at a secret European/Mediterranean location.

I have been thinking about concepts for a bouquet made out of silk flowers a lot so when she asked me to create one I was thrilled to say the least. Each rhinestone cluster is pieced together and stitched to the flower by hand. I hope you enjoy the Leona Charlize as much as I do.

You can never have enough sparkle.

Recently I had the pleasure of making two of these gorgeous baskets for what I am sure will be a fabulous wedding. These are white silk taffeta baskets wrapped with the rhinestone design on the front and back. Pictures never do rhinestones justice and this is no exception. The sparkle on these is unbelievable. This had been one of my favorite custom orders that I have done.

Just a close up detail shot of the rhinestones design. When you hold this in person you let the light dance off the crystals and shoot rainbows everywhere. As the title of this post says, "You can never have enough sparkle."

Product Spotlight! Beaded Leaf and Pearl Flowers Ring Bearer Pillow

A gorgeous ivory silk dupioni ring bearer pillow. The real show stopper about this pillow is the beaded leaf appliques and the genuine freshwater pearl handwired flowers that grace the top. All of this is painstakingly handstitched on. The ribbon is super luxe double faced satin. It measures about 8x8 and is hand tufted with a mother of pearl button.
